Information: Browser database storage
This app uses a browser storage capacity called indexedDB. This is a database that is only accessible on the single device it was set up on. In other words, you cannot use both your phone and your laptop or desktop computer to read from or write to the same database.
However, it is possible to set up databases in browsers on various devices and transfer the data from one to another using the Export/Import methods in the Manage tab.
Recommendation: Keep a backup
Database operations are subject to failure for various reasons. So it is highly recommended to have a separate copy of the data (word groups and their word sets) that you save to the database.
The best option for the separate/backup copy is a spreadsheet app such Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. The Export/Import methods in the Manage tab of the spaced-repetition app provide a simple interface to the spreadsheet.
