Accessibility

The aim is to make the content of this site accessible to visitors with every type of temporary or permanent impairment. All new pages will be created with reference to and (where possible†) compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 issued by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Please note, however, that the site contains over 15,000 pages, many of which were created in the last century. Reviewing, and if necessary amending, these pages to ensure that they are accessible by modern standards will take place over the next several months - starting in January 2020.

If you as a user of the site have difficulties accessing the content or functionality of any page, please contact me at the email address below. I shall then prioritise the review of that page and amend it if possible.

† Many of the pages are interactive quizzes or games and require the use of a mouse and/or drag and drop functionality. It may be possible to update such pages to fully conform with accessibility guidelines. But this cannot be guaranteed.
